Indivisible is a national movement of more than a million members taking regular, repeated actions to protect our democracy. Indivisible members make calls. They show up. They speak with their neighbors. They organize. And through that work, they’ve built hundreds of mini-movements in support of their local values.
This is the website for the Utah County group of Indivisible. Our group was created in February 2025 by Sarah, a mom of four living in Eagle Mountain, who decided one day that reading the news online, sobbing, and eating fistfuls of raw cookie dough was no longer an acceptable action plan (particularly given the price of eggs).
Our group is a bipartisan collaboration of many different kinds of people. Lots of us are parents. Some of us are immigrants or family members of immigrants. Many of us are practicing Latter-day Saints, and many of us are not. We have a broad range of stories and situations, but we're united by the beliefs that (1) what is happening to America in this moment is NOT okay, (2) being silent is no longer an acceptable option, and (3) that if enough of us begin to stand together and speak up, things can get better.
What are we doing to take action? We're sharing information on how to best contact our city, county, and state officials specific issues—then actually sending those emails and letters and making those phones calls instead of just thinking about it or talking about it. We're forming groups to plan and attend peaceful protests together. We're building an online community through the Indivisible Utah County socials to keep one another energized, informed, and connected in these frightening times. We don't always know exactly what to do, but we don't let that fear and uncertainty paralyze us. We do SOMETHING, because something is always better than nothing.
Our logo contains Utah's state flower, the sego lily. This tough little desert bloom is a powerful symbol of something small and simple that made a big difference. Join us and know that you too can make a difference, and that you are not alone in how you feel right now. If enough of us find the courage to come together, we can create a massive, collective political muscle ready to be exercised each and every day in every corner of the country, including right here in our Utah communities.
